– Russell J. Teague
is a seasoned enterprise information technology / security
executive with over sixteen years of extensive experience.
Mr. Teague has served in roles from Chief Security Officer
to Senior Vice President of Global Information Systems and
Technology for fortune 1000 financial services company.
Mr. Teague has been part of building
the security industry serving in roles with IBM Global Services
Security & Privacy, Cybertrust and Fannie Mae Security
Division. Mr. Teague has been instrumental in developing strategic
offerings and working throughout the security industry to
help his clients leverage security to meet their business
goals and objectives. Mr. Teague currently manages the Arsenal
Security Group Practice located in Atlanta, Georgia.
– Mark Lippman
is an experienced executive with over fifteen years leading
security organizations at IBM, Cybertrust and L3 (formerly
SMA, Inc). Mr. Lippman served as the Managing Principal for
IBM Global Services’ Security & Privacy Practice
leading a management team that served 8 of the largest 10
financial institutions in the US.
Mr. Lippman has led engagements with
over 100 clients transcending almost every industry sector
although his expertise is in the retail, distribution and
government sectors. Mr. Lippman received his MBA at Wharton
and currently manages the Arsenal Security Group practice
located in Washington, DC. In addition, Mr. Lippman is a QDSP-certified
auditor for the Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security
standards.
– Michael
Walter is an information security professional with over ten
years of industry experience. Mr. Walter has a Masters degree
in Computer Science, three patents in information security,
and a CISSP. He has presented at numerous conferences on issues
including PCI-DSS, Social Engineering, Quantitative Risk,
Building Security into the SDLC, and Best Practices in Intrusion
Detection.
Prior to joining Arsenal, Mr. Walter worked
as a Principal Consultant for Cybertrust and pioneered work
in risk quantification. Before that, Mr. Walter worked for
IBM in their Ethical Hacking department, Security Operations
Center, and Security Intelligence department. Mr. Walter’s
thesis work at the University of Colorado was behavioral profiling
of hacker activity.
Mr. Walter is a certified Qualified Security
Assessor (QSA) for the Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security
standards and currently manages the Arsenal Security Group
Practice located in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Spurlin has over 15 years experience in information technology, Information Security and Information Risk Management. He pioneered the development of Information Security processes and procedures developing enterprise-class repeatable processes and procedures to facilitate project teams and information security for a Fortune 10 retailer. He directed implementation of process development integrating this process into established corporate Solutions Development Lifecycle. During his tenure with the Fortune 10 retailer, he was responsible for leading a team of 24 engineers and architects focused on Information Security and an annual expense and capital budget of $40 million.
Mr. Spurlin has extensive experience in identifying business security needs and designing solutions to remediate these risks to an acceptable level for large enterprises. He has developed programs and lead teams in preparation for Regulatory Compliance audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley, Payment Card Industry Security Standards, Gramm-Leach Bliley, Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act, Federal Information Security Management Act and Annual Audits. Mr. Spurlin is considered an Information Risk Management Industry Thought Leader and is actively sought out by large corporations for consulting on how to setup their Information Risk Management programs.
