XX, DATE XX, 2007 - Arsenal Security Group today announced
its participation in MasterCard’s new PCI Merchant Education
Program, a comprehensive program that offers practical education
and training for merchants to better their understanding of
PCI DSS. The program includes interactive sessions with industry
security experts. Michael Walter of Arsenal Security Group
will present information on Preparing for a Successful PCI
Assessment: Lessons from the Field in an upcoming Webinar
session that will be available to merchants and other industry
professionals on October 15, 2007.

As a part of its broad Security Leadership Initiative, MasterCard
and its partners have developed a series of customizable,
interactive modules and team with acquiring bank members to
develop training sessions and materials tailored to their
merchants. The on-demand Webinar series includes pre-recorded
content available through an online interface that can be
viewed as the merchant’s schedule permits.
The PCI DSS sets forth requirements for enhancing payment
account data security. Developed by MasterCard and the other
founding payment brands that comprise the PCI Security Standards
Council, the DSS is intended to help organizations protect
payment account data. The multifaceted security standard includes
requirements for security management, policies, procedures,
network architecture, software design and other critical protective
measures.

was concerned about external access to personal data
on plan membership through the plan’s external

technical audits resulting in a comprehensive report
