Security Consultant

Description:

Provide expertise on a wide range of client engagements with a focus on enterprise security. Likely areas of focus are security policies and procedures, network assessments, security health checks, incident response, application security, security compliance assessments and business partner assessments and management strategies. Work closely with Senior Information Security Professionals, clients and other consultants. On smaller engagements will serve as Project Manager and be responsible for client management and final deliverables. Must be able to present findings to clients, communication skills is a must. Career path is to a Senior Consultant and then Principal Consultant.

Required Qualifications:

	Experience in several key technical areas of information security
	CISSP Certification required or ability to pass within first 3-6 months
	At least 5 years IT Security consulting experience
	Strong written report writing skills (samples required) and oral presentation skills
	Willingness to travel extensively throughout the US and Canada (estimated 70% travel)

Qualifications:

	Project management experience
	Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
	Knowledge of various application and remote testing tools for technical assessments
	Prior experience in application and system vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
